The Celina Dress made me feel ... Myself again! I've tried on other maternity clothes and the majority were very frumpy... not happy! What I look for in maternity wear is comfort but without sacrificing the polished style I had before getting pregnant. The Dress is the perfect base piece that you can style up or down to suit the occasion. I love it with killer heels and a blazer for during the week or boots and a leather jacket on the weekends. 8. ANY-TIME NOW!

    ANY-TIME NOW!

Cue the long summer days in 40 degree heat! I'm 36 weeks and like every pregnant woman in Melbourne, this heat is pure torture! Feeling extra hot is certainly not the fun part of pregnancy. My belly has grown so much over the last month, I’m really struggling to find something appropriate and cooling to wear in the heat. At this stage I’m living in my  Continue reading

  10. A PREGNANT WOMAN OUT AND ABOUT.

A PREGNANT WOMAN OUT AND ABOUT.

    - Tuesday, 3rd December 2013 - Everything seems to happen at the same time; it’s been a busy last couple of weeks! With the festive season around the corner, I’ve managed to squeeze in an overseas work trip and even moved into my new house. With my little belly now popping out, I’ve found that certain styles and cuts I usually wear have been uncomfortable. Funny really, I prefer snugger fits than the loose, billowy styles which I favoured early on. At 27 weeks I’ve been feeling the need to enjoy every moment before my baby arrives but that’s pretty much impossible, if you're feeling uncomfortable! Continue reading

18 Weeks Pregnant and Feeling In-between

I'm very excited to announce I'm pregnant with my first child! At 18 weeks pregnant, I'm feeling in-between stage where I'm not quite 'showing' but people may think I have put on weight (you all know what I am talking about). I can not zip up my normal jeans and I'm trying to hide my belly till I actually look pregnant! I'm lucky that having designed for Soon Maternity for nearly 3 years, I've met a lot of pregnant ladies going through the same stage as I am now. The one advise I have is to invest in essential pieces that will grow with you till the end of your pregnancy. I've put together three outfits that have lately become my go to looks.
